The standard
Clean racing
Racing cleanly and respectably has been the standard since day one. It isn't a soft position either — over twelve hours, the fastest crew is usually the one that hands the car back undamaged four times in a row.
About us
An endurance sim racing team and community, racing together since 2021.
Why endurance
Every endurance race is the same argument with a clock. Fuel windows, stint lengths, safety car timing, how long a set of tyres will really last on the second run. Pace matters, but pace is the easy part.
A sprint race asks who is quickest today. A twelve-hour asks something harder: who can be quick four times in a row, hand the car over clean, and still be making good decisions at four in the morning.
That is the racing we built the team around, and it is why the team looks the way it does — fewer heroics, more preparation.
Where we started
Cronus began as a small community built around endurance racing in Assetto Corsa Competizione. No grand plan — just a handful of people who wanted longer races and better teammates.
The group grew beyond ten before long. Most of those people are still here today, and they run the team day to day — the roster, the events, the calendar, the community itself.
We moved into iRacing for its endurance calendar and multiclass fields. Our first special event came weeks later: the Sebring 12 Hours, 2025.
We expanded into Le Mans Ultimate and keep an active presence there, following the title as it develops. Our competitive focus stays on iRacing, where the endurance racing we care about lives.
How we race
The standard
Racing cleanly and respectably has been the standard since day one. It isn't a soft position either — over twelve hours, the fastest crew is usually the one that hands the car back undamaged four times in a row.
The work
Most of what decides a result happens before the green flag. Setup work, stint plans, fuel numbers, practice sessions with no audience. We put in the hours outside the server as well as in it.
The goal
We're always chasing the next victory. But the ambition that came first — and still comes first — is simply to become the best drivers we can be.
Not every session has to be flat out. Sometimes it's just good to race with people you like.
More than a roster
Cronus is a community, not only a race team. Most of us are around outside of race weekends — casual gaming, hanging out, whatever's going on. Not everybody drives every event at their competitive peak, and that's the point. There's room here for people who want to race hard, and room for people who just want a good race with like-minded people.
